Privacy Policy

            TL;DR: We collect minimal data (your prediction and optional username). No tracking, no ads, no selling your data. Your IP is hashed for spam prevention only.
        

What We Collect

When you submit a prediction, we store:

Your prediction: Number of days until you think the AI bubble will pop
Username (optional): Only if you choose to provide one
Timestamp: When you submitted your prediction
Hashed IP address: For spam prevention and rate limiting (not stored in readable form)

Why We Collect It

Predictions: To calculate and display the community average
Username: To potentially show who predicted correctly in the future
IP hash: To prevent spam and abuse (rate limiting: 1 submission per 5 minutes)

Cookies

We don't set any cookies ourselves. However, Cloudflare (our hosting provider) may set strictly necessary cookies for:

DDoS protection
Bot detection
Load balancing

These cookies are essential for the site to function and don't require consent under GDPR.

Third Parties

We use:

Cloudflare: Hosting and DDoS protection
Cloudflare D1: Database storage

We do NOT use:

Google Analytics or any tracking
Advertising networks
Social media trackers

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Know what data we have about you
Request deletion of your data
Not be tracked or profiled

Since we don't collect email addresses, contact us via GitHub if you need to exercise these rights.

Data Retention

We keep predictions indefinitely to maintain the historical record and show who predicted correctly. IP hashes are kept for rate limiting purposes only.

Security

We take security seriously:

IP addresses are hashed (SHA-256) before storage
All data is stored in Cloudflare's secure infrastructure
No passwords or sensitive data collected
